From Rigs:
The biggest thing is taking the time to hunt for the right thing that works for you on tapjoy. Everyone acct with tap joy is different. Ill tell you how i do mine and hopefully you will be ale to match it to you. I tap joy on my ipad and my iphone. The ipad i use for me and the iphone i use to give gems to ppl in my alliance. Eharmony is the app on tap joy that is my biggest earn. 286 gems a day! I quickly go on yahoo.com and make a fake email acct and then i register with eharmony. Everyday i have a new name and sometimes if i am in the mood i even pair up some of my old accts. i swap bewteen male and female. My most common go to name is Tina. (Yes ren i put that in there just for u). Long story short is i spend 5 min of my time and i get 286 gems. The trick is to delete the app afterwards from all devices! Including your computer!
Ok so how to delete he app correctly as this is the most i portant part and why so many of you give up and say tap joy doesnt work for you! I do not link my devices( when u take a pic from one does it download to the other) Some of u might so that could be a problem. I do use icloud but even when u use icloud no matter if the app was free it goes to purchased items. There is only one way to delete it and u have to do it from your computer on itunes. Once u delete it then it appears as if u have never "bought" that app so tapjoy lets u use that promotion endlessly. Go on itunes click apps then highlight all the apps u downloaded for tapjoy. Right click and click delete. Here is the error u can make that means the most..... Another option pops up and the already preseleceted one is wrong so do NOT hit enter. Instead click move to recycle bin. Then empty recycle bin and u r done!

KOC: Calculating Training Time for T1, T2, & T3 Troops
THE IMPORTANT VARIABLES ARE:
Geometry Research, Blacksmith Lvl, Marshal Knight Lvl, Number of Barracks & Sum of Lvl of all Barracks
The formula is:
Training Time in Seconds = (Troop Qty * Base Time) / (( 1 + (Geometry + Blacksmith)/10 + (Knight / 200)) * (Barracks Qty + ((Barracks Sum - Barracks Qty) / 10)))
Base time is the baseline time in seconds required to train a particular Tier of Troops To calculate how much time it would take to train a particular number of troops you can enter by adjusting numbers in the table below. You can enter quantity of troops, your levels of Geometry etc. (You cannot change the Base Time as that is fixed)
The time will be calculated in the rows below as total time in seconds or in minutes or hours.
Copy and Paste the table below into excel. The formulas you need are below the table, you can copy the formulas paste them in excel.
Before you paste make sure you click on cell A1.
In Cell B10 paste the following formula: =(B2*B3)/((1+(B4+B5)/10+(B6/200))*(B7+((B8-B7)/10)))
In Cell B11 paste the following formula: =B10/60
In Cell B12 Paste the following formula: =B11/60
When these formulas are in you can copy and paste them to columns C & D
The table below shows how long it takes to gain might for each of the three Tiers based on the might of each tier divided by the base time to train that tier
Conclusion: you gain might twice as fast by training Tier 1 than Tier 3 troops

Resources
The alliance has a bank and no one should be over the protection limits. It is understandable if your farming and get hit that you can lose resources. However it is not understandable if your losing millions of resources because your not under the protection limits. If you are giving up millions of resources you have been book marked and they will continue to hit you as long as they get resources from you. Walls won't stop them if you have resources, they are coming for them. If you are going to keep resources over the protection limits you should have 10 mm might protecting it. A word of caution though 10 mm might will stop some people from farming you and others will just want to zero you to get to your resources. So the best option is to use the bank and if you need resources ask in alliance chat and usually someone there will have what you need and if not the bank will send what you need. In this alliance we are family and we grow faster by helping each other out.

Researching
The most important researches for attacking are poisoned edge, healing potions, metal alloys, alloy horse shoes, and fletching. These are the researches you see when people attack you. Everyone you attack will see these researches as well! If you have no resource fields and you farm for your resources then you don't have to finish the fertilizer, logging, stoneworking, or smelting! If you are done with your buildings or very close to being done then you don't have to research giants strength. If you have no storehouse then don't need to research shrinking powder. I suggest you do magical mapping as it will always help you throughout the entire game the same applies to geometry and eagle eyes. You can stop on level 9 for featherweight powder for sure.
Surveying
hills= sapphire woods= emerald grassland= ruby mountain=diamond lake you cant survey. several people have asked if surveying is a waste of time. They could have left it out of the game but it can be useful. You can survey while sleeping and it will not mess with your playing time. Then when you have enough you can turn it in for something and it didn't cost you anything. So how to survey - click your castle and go to wilds tab (far right may have different name) from here you can tap the coordinates for your wild and it will take you straight to the wild. Reinforce it with 1 or more troops and once the reinforcement arrives a little shovel will appear to the left of the march tap it and survey will begin. repeat until you have done all the wilds you wish to do. Important Note: The higher the knight you use to reinforce with the faster the survey will go however if you do it while sleeping it wont matter.

Training
If you thought the 212 knight was hard to understand than the training will be difficult as well. Several people are asking what t1 t2 and t3 mean. This is a short way of talking about a certain set of troops t1 is tier 1 troops which are light cavalry, militiamen, and archers. The t2 troops are cavalry, swordmen, and ballistae. The t3 troops are heavy cavalry, battering rams, and catapults. You can see this by looking at how many stars each troop has in the same screen where you train your troops. The same thing applies to wall troops. the t1 is the weakest troop and the t3 are the strongest. The troops you train varies from person to person. some people don't train t1 at all and they use is t2 as a basic troop since its right in the middle. I personally don't train t2. I use t1 for easy kills and farming and t3 for battle and heavy hitting. So the troops you train is always a personal choice and there is no set way to train or a set troop to train. Alot of people believe militiamen, swordsmen, and heavy cavalry are the most powerful troops and they train only those troops. Since most people believe this even if they train the other troops they tend to train these troops more than others. That's why I tend to train light cavalry more than militiamen because militiamen are weak against light cavalry. So long story short an even mixture of whatever tier troop is advised. Ok so you have three cities and you may want to know what to train in each city. Some people train a single tier troop in each city. others just train whatever. Some people train based on their schedules. so once again there isn't a set troop to train or when to train or where to train them its a personal choice. I train t3 when I'm going to go to be out because the training takes longer and ill be off line longer. I train t3 when I wake up as well because I'll be at work and once again those trains take longer. Once work slows down or I'm done for the day and I'm online and chatting I train t1 because I'm setting trains more frequently. This is what works for me and may not work for you or it may work perfectly for you. I have been on several peoples accounts and a lot of people don't train the way I do. They train t1 only in troop city because they train faster and they dont have to reassign troops. If this works best for you then do it. Important to note is tat if you want to train cavalry your stable will allow you to train cavalry and heavy cavalry. Since I train all tiers in all cities this works for me. If you stick to one tier per city then this isn't for you. I have removed the stable from one of my cities and I train the heavy cavalry in my other cities. I have also removed my workshop in a different city. The workshop allows you to build ballistae, trebuchets (wall troop) and cataputs. I build these troops in the other two cities. This makes room for an additional barrack or cottage in the cities and I can still train all troops. BEFORE you do this though make sure you don't need these buildings to upgrade other buildings or do researches. please double check first!
Getting a 212 Knight
First and foremost I can't explain the importance of having a 212 knight! If you do anything in your city having a 212 is the most important and should be the first thing to focus on! It helps with everything you do in the game (attacking, training, building, defending etc.). If you look in the knights hall you can assign and unassign your knight to different positions. You should do this between each action in the game. You don't have to leave it in the setting only when you are setting it up you can then remove the knight and it won't change the time to complete. So you can move it to research, building, training etc. and then unassign to attack with it. Important note the Marshall helps in defending your city. Using your 212 improves everything in the game and is the most useful tool in this game. So here is how you get a 212 knight and prevent from coming short with a 211. Begin by training with Arthur (the big one 50,000) up to level 184. Once you get to level 184 you have to use the middle one (10,000) until you get to level 194 then you have to use the small one (1,000) until you get to level 199. Once you get to level 199 you will see a 0100/3900 ratio. The reason most people come up short is they use the big train a little too soon. It has to be 3400/3900 or higher to make a 212, anything below will result in a 211. There is a big difference between a 212 and a 211. For example training 1000 t1 with a 211 is 3 min slower then with 212. 3 min may not seem seem like much but if your training 11000 t1's at a time or more it adds up to 33 min. This is an even bigger difference with t2 & t3. So once you reach level 199 you can no longer use the train with boosts to reach 3400/3900. You will have to start attacking to gain experience (20 exp if you win and 10 if you lose). This is the worst part of getting a 212. At 20 it takes 170 attacks and at 10 340 attacks. So pick a target that is very close to your city and and keep attacking it, the quickest it can be is 30 seconds to attack and 30 seconds to return. Since this takes 30 seconds to attack and 30 seconds to return you can pick another lower level knight to to build up also. With two knights going it becomes this continuous circle. If you are uncomfortable with the process contact Rigs and she will walk you through it.
